Beginner’s Class
The St. Tammany
Computer Association (STCA) will be teaching a beginner’s level course
in Microsoft Windows 7 on the third Tuesday of each month, beginning
July 20, 2010. The course is intended for people with little or no
computer experience. It will cover the basic features of Windows 7, how
to connect to and browse the internet, how to set up and use e-mail and
how to use some of the programs that come with Windows.
The classes will be held at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1320
Gause Blvd. W., Slidell, LA. from 7:00 PM. To 8:30 PM
third Tuesday of each month.
Students must become members of STCA and purchase a text book. Dues for
membership are $20 per year. The textbooks will be available at the
class for $25. |

FIRST Saturday of every month at 9:30 AM,
three computer classes meet... Introduction Into Computers, Vista
Fundamentals and Intermediate Computers.
SECOND Tuesday at 7:00 PM is our General Meeting, with a program
on various computer related topics.
THIRD Tuesday, starting July 20th, is a once monthly Windows 7 class,
7:00 PM.
THIRD Tuesday at 7:00 PM is Lab night.
(Bring topics with which you are having trouble understanding, or just
come observe the problems other members have and the solution.
THIRD Tuesday is also the Genealogy SIG (Special Interest Group)
meeting at 7:pm, You are welcomed to attend if you have an interest in
that area.
FOURTH Tuesday of every month is Class night at 7:00 PM...Introduction
Into Computers, Vista Fundamentals and Intermediate Computers. |
